We are seeking a highly skilled Lactation Consultant to join our team at Children's Health (Dallas). As a Lactation Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing expert care and support to lactating mothers and their infants.
Responsibilities:- Provide lactation consultation and education to mothers and healthcare providers
- Assess and develop individualized lactation plans for mothers and infants
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for lactating mothers and their infants
- Develop and implement lactation education programs for healthcare providers and staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance lactation care and outcomes
- At least 2 years of experience in lactation care and consultation
- International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
