Academic Physiotherapy Professor

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced physiotherapy faculty member to join our team. As a full-time, twelve-month position, you will be responsible for teaching students, demonstrating expertise in assigned teaching areas, and contributing to the design, implementation, and evaluation of the DPT curriculum.

**Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a collaborative environment among faculty, colleagues, staff, administrators, and students.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to engage students.
• Stay up-to-date with contemporary treatment techniques and contribute to the establishment of academic regulations.
• Project a positive, professional image for the university.
• Mentor students in research and advise a student group throughout a research project.
• Participate in student recruitment and retention efforts.

**Requirements:

• Earned terminal academic doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, EdD, DHSc, ScD) or earned terminal professional doctoral degree and in-process for terminal academic doctoral degree.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice physical therapy in Kansas.
• Experience teaching as a full-time ranked college/university faculty or combined teaching experiences with other professional work.

**Salary Range:** $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The salary range reflects the estimated compensation based on industry standards and the location in Kansas.
