About the Role

This is a key leadership position that oversees the development and implementation of aquatics programs, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for members of all ages. As the Aquatics Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and leading a high-performing aquatics team
  • Creating and implementing engaging aquatics programs that meet community needs
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards
  • Managing department payroll and budgets
  • Representing the aquatics department on the Impact Team and contributing to strategic planning and decision-making
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years of experience in aquatics or recreational activities with a background in supervising and leading teams
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to apply basic accounting and finance principles
  • Current certifications in BLS (CPR-PRO), First Aid, Emergency Oxygen, and Lifeguard certifications
  • Lifeguard Instructor and Swim Instructor certifications are preferred
