Job Summary

Success Education Colleges is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician Instructor to join our team in Anaheim. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching and implementing the curriculum for our Pharmacy Technician program. This is a faculty position directly reporting to the Campus Director.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and implement the total curriculum, as assigned by, and under the direction and supervision of your direct supervisor.
  • Plan and assign student activities in the classroom and/or clinical settings.
  • Maintain records of student progress and performance, attendance and grades.
  • Prepare, administer, and grade written and practical examinations during the course of study.
  • Devises written lesson plans and implements them through lecture, demonstration, discussion, etc.
  • Discuss with students their concerns and/or problems directly or indirectly related to the learning experience.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with Program Director or her designee.
  • Assist the student to develop an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideals appropriate to the health care profession.
  • Participate in the selection and preparation of instructional materials.
  • Provide a professional role model for students.
  • Provide instruction to Pharmacy Technician classes.
  • Prepare students for a successful career as a Pharmacy Technician Assistant.
  • Assist with on-going review and development of curricula in the department.
  • Attend orientations, staff meetings, and faculty meetings as scheduled.
  • Monitor student progress and attendance.

Qualifications
  • 3 years experience in the field
  • PT Certification License
  • High School Diploma
