We have multiple opportunities available on our growing Marine Corps Systems Command professional support services team spanning program and acquisition management, logistics, finance, contracts, engineering, IT, data, and other DoD acquisition command professional service requirements. Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Senior Comms Specialist provides professional communications support and recommendations, including technical editing and writing support, template design, graphics, and illustration to enhance communications in support of Marine Corps Systems Command.

As a Task Lead, this role fulfills several key responsibilities:

• Serves as the primary point of contact for the supported customer Task Lead and related customer stakeholders
• Led contractor support, providing vision, strategy, direction, oversight, and quality control of task-level performance, including subcontractors
• Supports synchronization of contractor personnel at different levels of the organization

This position requires 10 years of experience in DoD professional technical editing and writing support, direct supervision of professionals, proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Outlook), and a Bachelor's degree preferred. The applicant must also pass a security clearance requirement for the position. Additionally, this role may require typing and reading from a computer screen, and due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required.
