Job Summary

Nabholz Construction Serv is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on concrete surfaces, including floors, walls, sidewalks, and curbs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Spread and finish concrete to specified depths and textures, adhering to ACI Standards.
  • Level and shape freshly poured concrete surfaces using finishing tools, floats, and power screeds.
  • Apply various concrete finishes using power trowels, floats, hand trowels, and other specialized equipment.
  • Perform patchwork on concrete surfaces using multiple techniques.
  • Install expansion joints, control joints, and edges using edgers, groovers, and expansion boards.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in concrete finishing techniques, including SOG, SOMD, elevated decks, stairs, paving, sidewalks, and curb and gutter.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in concrete finishing.
  • Ability to work rapidly and accurately with hands.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow set procedures and standards.
  • Excellent spatial awareness and ability to compare and see differences in size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects.
  • Ability to calculate amounts of concrete required for each job and work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
  • Physical ability to climb, maintain body balance, and use hands and arms fully, as well as stand, kneel, bend, crawl, or crouch for long periods.
