Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Elizabeth Seton Children's. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for providing treatment services to children ranging in ages from 0-21 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver treatment services to children with speech and language disorders
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment services
  • Participate in departmental in-services and staff development activities
  • Develop and review patient care plans in conjunction with Physiatrist
  • Conduct annual hearing screenings of children on caseload
  • Provide patient education through verbal explanation, visual demonstration, or written documentation
  • Complete reporting activities as required by regulatory and departmental standards
  • Comply with established CRC, Inc. policies and procedures
  • Supervise graduate students or CFY candidate as assigned
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology with ASHA Current (or in process) CCC status
  • Current New York State License (or in process) as a Speech/Language Pathologist
  • Minimum One (1) year experience in clinical pediatric environment
  • Strong communication and written skills
  • Ability to lift, carry, transfer and position patients in therapeutic equipment
  • Ability to stand and move freely while treating and supervising patients
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000.00/Yr. to $95,000.00/Yr.
