Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to care for newborns in our well-baby nursery. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent acute care experience in a specialty and be able to perform initial assessments, take vitals, weigh and measure babies, monitor temperatures, bathe them, and return them to their mothers.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care to newborns in the well-baby nursery
  • Perform initial assessments, take vitals, weigh and measure babies
  • Monitor temperatures, bathe babies, and return them to their mothers
  • Change diapers, help with hearing screening, assist mothers with breastfeeding or bottle-feeding
  • Help doctors with circumcision or treating babies who are ill
