Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work closely with students, teachers, and support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the diverse needs of students with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IEPs that meet the unique needs of students with special needs
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success
Requirements
- 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Special Education Teacher within the last 3 years
- Valid Special Education Teacher credential/license or in process in state of practice
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
