Job Summary

The Electrophysiology Technologist plays a vital role in the cardiovascular laboratory, working under the direction of a qualified physician to perform procedures that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart arrhythmias.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform fluoroscopy and digital image capture procedures using specialized equipment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure maximum patient safety and comfort.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology.
  • Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification or Washington Radiologic Technologist certification.
  • National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • National Provider BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular laboratory.
  • Electrophysiology technologist experience.
