Key Responsibilities
  • Safe Driving Practices: Abide by Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and ensure every trip is completed accident-free.
  • Conduct Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform daily inspections on every truck driven to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Complete Required Paperwork: Accurately complete and submit paperwork at the end of each workday.
  • Load and Unload Containers: Ensure proper material distribution and securing of loads using tarps as required.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by delivering and picking up containers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communication: Communicate with customers and transportation managers to resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Class B License: Must possess a valid Class B driver's license.
  • Experience: 2+ years of driving experience preferred.
  • Clean Driving Record: A clean driving record is a plus.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to enter and exit truck cab using foot and hand holds, and exert force for pushing and pulling.
