Robotics Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Robotics Professor to join our team at the University of Advancing Technology. As an adjunct professor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering courses that ensure our students achieve their program's learning outcomes, complete their programs, and have an exceptional learning experience.

The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in robotics or a relevant field with 18 credit hours in robotics, and a strong background in teaching and mentoring students. A doctorate is preferred.

The successful candidate will be an active member of the engineering community, encouraging student participation and inspiring, motivating, and mentoring students. They will also facilitate relevant student projects and innovations, and develop and deliver coursework that reflects current, emerging, and future technologies and practices in the engineering field.

Key skills required include ARM microcontroller architecture and programming, mechanical engineering fundamental concepts, computer vision, digital vision and sensor processing, autonomous vehicles, and mechatronics. A combination of these skills is preferred.

Location Requirements: Candidates residing in Arizona must be willing to teach in-person at the Tempe campus. For online candidates, UAT is limited to considering candidates from the following states: Colorado, Florida, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, and Washington.

Adjunct Pay per Course: $3,000 for in-person courses, $2,400 for online courses with 10+ students enrolled, and $1,500 for online courses with 10 or less students enrolled.
