Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Oral Health Care Associate to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of patient care services.

Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists in the clinical treatment of patients, preparing them for procedures, sterilizing instruments, and setting up equipment.
  • Prepare materials, assist during dental procedures, and record treatment information in patient records.
  • Provide post-operative instructions to patients and assist in managing medical and dental emergencies.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and understanding of policies and procedures associated with a dental practice.
  • Compliance with HIPAA, HITECH Act of 2009, and state dental practice requirements (e.g., X-ray requirements, OSHA training).
  • Legible handwriting for notations in patient charts and computer skills (including dental software).
  • Commitment to continuing education for career development and good interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, dentists, and staff.
Salary and Benefits

Our estimated salary range is $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and opportunities for professional growth and development.
