Mixology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Contessa, a rooftop bar in The Newbury Boston. As a valuable member of our team, you will ensure that guests have an exceptional dining experience.

• Prepare and serve beverages to bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present the bar menu
• Check customers' identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the desired role
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work on-site for assigned schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to operate a point-of-sales system accurately and efficiently
• Deep knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, wine, beer, and proper technique

$45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
