About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Multispecialty team at Mount Sinai Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning
    • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs.
    • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Direct Patient Care
    • Provide direct care to patients, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing wound care.
    • Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes in their status.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure that patients' needs are met.
  • Education and Training
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and new technologies.
    • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to enhance the quality of care.
  • Leadership and Professional Development
    • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care.
    • Pursue opportunities for professional growth and development to advance your career.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
  • Experience
    • At least two years of experience in a multispecialty setting.
  • Certifications
    • Current RN license in New York State.
    • BLS and ALS certifications from AHA.
