Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Quik Travel Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring patients throughout the labor process, providing information and guidance to expectant parents, and administering medications and treatments as ordered.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor patient throughout (before/during/after) the labor
  • Provide information, guidance and hands-on clinical care to expectant parents
  • Monitor fetal heartbeat and length and strength of contractions during labor
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients
  • Provide guidance to new parents on all aspects of recovery and infant care
  • Respond to a medical emergency and alert appropriate team members
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a L&D nurse
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school
  • Current state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
  • BLS certification required
