About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Freight Coordinator to join our team at Successful and Growing Manufacturer.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $58,000 - $68,000 based on industry standards and the level of experience required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify that all packages are properly labeled and prepared for shipment via UPS and FedEx.
  • Pull, pack, and identify orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Process returns from customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Pack items according to our sustainability policies, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Notify the Shipping & Receiving Manager of low-level items and ensure daily shipments of inter-office mail.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments through the use of UPS/FedEx software.
  • Evaluate and resolve any issues related to shipping and receiving.
  • Perform other special projects and requests as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a shipping and receiving department is preferred.
  • Experience using UPS/FedEx software is necessary.
  • Forklift certification is required.
  • Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
