About the Unit
The 3E/G team at Blodgett Hospital is a unique and dynamic unit structure, comprising two separate units working together as one team. Our 24-bed Med/Surg unit, 3E, cares for a mix of medical and orthopedic patients, while our 22-bed Orthopedic unit, 3G, specializes in Total Joint Replacement patients. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including those undergoing Total Joint Replacement, Hip Fracture, Osteomyelitis, and other medical conditions.

Scope of Work
As a Nurse Tech on our team, you'll work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider to deliver quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include performing basic skills, communicating observations to the healthcare team, and collecting and reporting patient data. You'll also have the opportunity to develop your skills in areas such as wound care, catheterization, and patient safety.

Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days.
