Position Overview

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to fill a travel position at a reputable healthcare facility. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in surgical technology and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • Current BLS certification
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credentials from NBSTSA or NCCT
Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures and ensuring the operating room is prepared for various types of surgeries. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining sterile environments
  • Assisting surgeons and nursing staff during operations
  • Handling surgical instruments and supplies
Experience Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in an operating room setting
  • Active certifications in BLS and CST
Work Schedule

The position typically involves:

  • Shifts: Monday to Friday, with 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
  • Rotating holidays
Unit Information

The surgical unit consists of:

  • 11 operating suites, with 6-7 open daily
  • 15-30 surgical cases handled each day
  • Common surgical specialties include orthopedic, neurological, and general surgeries
Additional Information

Orientation will be provided until the candidate feels comfortable in the role. Scrub colors and other necessary supplies will be provided by the facility.
