About the Role:
Northern Colorado Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, medication, and treatment plans, making adjustments as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress, goals, and concerns.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
- One (1) year recent experience in an acute care setting, preferably in the ICU.
- Knowledge of and adherence to current nursing theory and practice, infection control, and wound care standards of practice.
- Knowledge of accreditation standards to ensure adherence to all standards set forth by state and accrediting agencies.
- Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality and work closely and professionally with others.
