Responsibilities:

  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate a variety of heavy equipment, including dozers, graders, and excavators, to perform tasks such as excavation, grading, and material transportation.
  • Pre-Operational Checks: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Transportation: Transport materials to job sites without supervision and assess dump sites to determine if it is safe for the truck to get in and out of the unloading area.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in a construction or excavation setting.
  • Qualifications: CDL Class A & Class B with endorsements, safety training certification, OSHA 10, and a Safety Training Certificate.
  • Skills: Ability to stand, squat, stoop, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., work in all weather conditions, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Responsible, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
