Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Floating is required; travelers regularly float between various like units within their skill set
- Med Surg - Ortho RN position with a patient age focus on adults and geriatrics
- Ratios: 1:4-5 (Day) / 1:5-6 (NOC) / 1:4-5 (Weekend)
- Open to first-time travelers; pending license accepted for quick starts
- Weekend requirement: Yes, every other weekend
- Orientation is provided, consisting of 40 hours
- Candidates may be asked to float within the hospital or to a nearby sister hospital
- Expected to work during 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Completion of non-billable modules pre-start, averaging 16 hours
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- References covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required prior to submission
