Job Title: Senior Fleet Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fleet Mechanic to join our team at TruGreen. As a Senior Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and preventative maintenance on our production equipment, fleet vehicles, and specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair fleet vehicle chassis and specialized vehicle back-end tank, pump, and spray systems.
  • Diagnose and repair tractors, forklifts, small engines, and specialized equipment (aerators, seeders, spreaders, etc.).
  • Accurately document all repairs in an electronic maintenance management system.
  • Maintain parts inventory and work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Arrange, follow up, and document outsourced maintenance performed by vendors and local service providers.
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs.
  • Prepare and manage maintenance budget.
  • Respond to vehicle and equipment breakdowns in the field as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 5 years of automotive mechanic experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • ASE Certification and/or successful completion of an Automotive Technology Program from a certified school required.
