About the Role

As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will play a vital role in our Radiology team, working alongside top medical professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform CT Scans: Conduct all ordered CT scans on both 4-slice and 64-slice CT machines, administering contrast when required, in accordance with approved protocols.
  2. Administer Contrast: Perform IV starts, as needed, and administer oral and/or IV contrast, following Departmental Protocol or written physician orders.
  3. Operate CT Equipment: Ensure proper operation of CT equipment, prioritizing patient safety and adhering to radiation protection techniques.
  4. Maintain Patient Records: Complete screening forms and medication reconciliation documents, submitting them to Pharmacy for review before contrast administration.
Requirements
  • AART Certification within one year of hire.
  • Amer Registry Radiologic Tech (Required)
  • Graduate of an AART-approved school of Radiographic Technology and a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a healthcare environment with direct patient contact.
