Physician Empire is seeking a highly skilled Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist to join our team at a top-ranked hospital in Massachusetts. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for managing a Consultation Liaison service covering approximately 200 medical-surgical beds, as well as providing backup support to crisis clinicians in the Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a Consultation Liaison service covering 200 medical-surgical beds
- Provide backup support to crisis clinicians in the Emergency Department
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with complex medical and psychiatric needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address patients' medical and psychiatric needs
Requirements
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Experience in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
