Job Summary

At OMNI MANOR INC, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center in Columbiana, OH. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our residents.

Responsibilities

Admit new residents and perform ongoing assessments of their physical and mental health
Explain procedures and treatment protocols to residents and their families
Plan and manage patient care according to each resident's needs
Interview patients and record their medical history and physical condition
Obtain patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration
Provide routine care for patients, including administering medications and monitoring catheters
Review medical charts and communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Assist with patient comfort and provide wound care and injections as needed

Qualifications

Medical knowledge and critical thinking skills
Patience, compassion, and kindness when interacting with patients and their families
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
Strong communication and observational skills
Knowledge of infection control practices and occupational hazards and safety rules
