The Clinical Supervisor in the CVICU department is a key leader responsible for the safe operation of the unit, including patient care, staffing, fiscal responsibility, and strategic goals. This role collaborates with the Director to ensure the continuous safe operation of the department.

As a designated leader, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for implementing, supervising, and evaluating safe patient care while promoting a safe environment for employees, families, and visitors. This includes maintaining clinical and professional competency appropriate to the ages, developmental stages, and special needs of the population.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and supervise safe patient care practices
  • Collaborate with the Director to achieve strategic goals and fiscal responsibility
  • Maintain clinical and professional competency
  • Promote a safe environment for employees, families, and visitors
Requirements
  • Valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside
  • CPR certification
  • BSN preferred or actively pursuing degree with designated graduation date
  • Relevant mandatory certifications for department within orientation period
  • 2-3 years of Acute Care or comparable experience with demonstrated leadership ability
