We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Supervisor to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor staff therapists, therapist assistants, and support personnel to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and their support systems.
- Conduct thorough evaluations, including patient history, examination, and research of unfamiliar diagnoses.
- Administer tests and measures, synthesize evaluation results, and formulate diagnoses, goals, and plans of care.
- Establish and maintain accurate records, including daily notes, reassessments, progress reports, and discharge plans.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure cost-effective use of supplies and equipment and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide education and training to patients and their support systems, as well as functional training to staff members.
- Participate in departmental initiatives, projects, and program development, ensuring timely execution and adherence to regulatory and insurance company requirements.
- Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapy education program or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability and interest in supervision and management.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
- Physical Therapist License.
