About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to perform quality mammography procedures and assist radiologists in the early detection of breast abnormalities. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist radiologists in the interpretation of mammography images and provide support during procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the best possible care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved radiologic technologist program and meets MQSA guidelines.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification - ARRT (M).
  • Texas Department of State Health certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in mammography or a related field.
