Job Summary

Weber Shandwick is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the finance and account management teams by providing general accounting support and performing various financial duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Work closely with account managers and project managers to analyze project spending, identify budget and expense issues, and provide financial reports to management.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Assist in preparing top-down financial reports, performing project reconciliations, and updating quarterly budget reports for clients and sister agencies.
  • Vendor Management: Work with the team to set up vendors in our internal system, ensure timely vendor invoices, and track check requests.
  • Financial Onboarding: Assist with the financial onboarding of new hires, including time entry, expense entry, and PO and Range process.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Review WIP reports, CAPS issues, unbilled time, and unbilled costs weekly, and maintain client contracts and amendments.
  • Ad Hoc Financial Reports: Provide ad hoc financial reports as requested by the CFO and account teams.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required.
  • Skills: Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong mathematical skills.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a financial analyst role.
