The Retreat at Jasper is seeking a skilled Med Tech to join their team in providing exceptional resident care and services. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with elders or disabled individuals.

As a Med Tech / Certified Medication Aide, you will be responsible for monitoring the health and well-being of our residents, assisting with medication administration, and supporting resident care activities. You will also assist with obtaining weights and vital signs monthly for each resident prior to completion of monthly wellness visits.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying on-going needs and services of residents through assessment and Personalized Service Plan (PSP) process
  • Ensuring proper follow-through and documentation for residents with a change in clinical care needs
  • Supporting the Wellness Nurse with completing clinical sections of monthly wellness visits and PSP to accurately reflect the resident on a monthly basis
  • Informing the Wellness Director and/or Executive Director of any changes in medication or service level that may result in a higher tier level or potential move-out

Requirements:

  • Must be certified Medication Aide and/or meet the state requirements for medication aide
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred
  • Must have demonstrated Leadership capabilities
  • Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000 per annum, based on national averages and taking into account the required qualifications and experience. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
