Job Overview
">We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team at Archinect. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and documentation coordination, including the development of design drawings, technical documentation, and leading project team assignments for multiple, large, and complex projects.
">About the Role
">The Senior Architect will be a certified licensed architect with a minimum of ten years of experience in architecture practice. They will be responsible for the finished plans, specifications, and approval of materials and construction on projects.
">Key Responsibilities
">The Senior Architect will have the following key responsibilities:
">- ">
- Licensed Architect with major project responsibility for finished plans, specifications, and approval of materials and construction.">
- Direct and coordinate the production of schematic, design development, and construction documents in collaboration with the Project Manager.">
- Plan, develop, and manage construction documents and execute technical documentation.">
- Conduct construction administration duties, such as site visits, RFI responses, submittals, and punch list reviews.">
- Resolve subject area issues and define scope.">
- Review completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations.">
- Establish and follow budget, task schedule, and other components of the work plan with Project Manager.">
- Collaborate with Project Manager to monitor project billing and maximize team quality and efficiency.">
- Coordinate with clients, project team, consultants, and contractors.">
- Provide leadership and oversight of a team of project architects, project associates, and interns.">
- Analyze design, design data, and planning as it relates to project scope.">
- Contribute innovative design solutions that capture the intended design vision.">
- Participate in marketing efforts and lead presentations to prospective clients.">
Requirements
">The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

- Proficiency in Revit required.">
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suites preferred.">
- Proficiency with Sketch Up or Rhino preferred; Lumion, Enscape, and V-Ray are a plus.">
- Strong working knowledge of zoning and building codes, specifications, and agency requirements.">
- Advanced knowledge in the design process, construction documentation, and construction administration.">
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.">
- Ability to meet scheduled deadlines and work within a client's budget.">
- Excellent organizational and client presentation skills.">
- Passion for providing exceptional client service.">
- Certification Requirements: Architectural License required, NCARB Certificate as needed on project assignments, LEED AP Certificate and experience in sustainable design preferred.">
Estimated Salary
">$120,000 - $180,000 per year based on location and experience.

">Travel
">This role requires occasional travel depending on project assignments.
