Job Summary

The ERP Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting and fulfilling the needs of Southwestern by managing the Enterprise Resource Planning and Student Information System (Ellucian Colleague) and collaborating with the Ellucian Cloud Assurance Team. This role will also act as a resource for various technical activities within the Campus Technology Operations team.

Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Oversee the administration and support of Colleague ERP/SIS systems.
    • Manage Colleague Self-service functionalities.
    • Administer Ellucian Ethos Integration.
    • Oversee Ellucian Data Access.
    • Manage Ellucian ILP.
    • Administer Ellucian Experience (if implemented).
  • Create and maintain user accounts, security protocols, and access rights for Colleague.
  • Maintain effective communication with Ellucian Cloud Services.
  • Engage with Colleague users to ensure their needs are met.
  • Provide systems analysis and problem-solving support to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of enterprise application systems.
  • Deliver consistent updates and reports to management.
  • Facilitate technical sessions with Ellucian professional services.
  • Coordinate system updates and environment clones.
  • Announce significant updates to Colleague features.
  • Promote the use of the Ellucian Customer Center.
  • Develop, maintain, and document best practices.
  • Produce necessary documentation and provide regular training for backup personnel.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned specific to the area of responsibility.

Qualifications / Education
  • Experience with Ellucian Colleague ERP/SIS systems is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Two years of relevant job experience is preferred.
  • Successful completion of background checks may be required.
Supervision
  • Reports to the Associate Vice President for Operations, Security, and Development.
Decision-Making Responsibilities
  • Limited decision-making authority within the scope of work assigned by the Associate Vice President for Operations, Security, and Development.
