SUMMARY:

We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Aggregate Sales Associate to support our concrete and asphalt recycling initiatives. This role involves collaborating with the Recycling Sales Manager to drive the sales of recycled materials. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication abilities and consistently represent our organization in a courteous and professional manner.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of crushing operations across all CTI Recycling locations.
  • Achieve and maintain relevant certifications such as AGG1 and AGG2.
  • Engage in sales prospecting, including outreach to estimators, engineers, and municipal officials.
  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with key buyers while identifying new customer opportunities to meet sales objectives.
  • Facilitate the sale of aggregates and transportation services, prepare project quotes, and fulfill procurement requirements.
  • Utilize APEX for sales management, ensuring timely completion of bid sheets, contracts, and material submissions.
  • Manage accounts receivable collections and accounts payable approvals.
  • Adhere to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established by the organization.
  • Collaborate with engineers and contractors on material approvals and submissions.
  • Stay informed about upcoming projects in Iowa and the Midwest region.
  • Promote the sales of recycled materials and transportation services.
  • Work closely with the Recycling Sales Manager and Operations team to meet sales demands.
  • Analyze competitor capabilities and market presence.
  • Comply with and enforce all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations as per CTI policies, OSHA, and applicable laws.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or sales, with a preference for prior customer relationship management experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; a 2-4 year post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent mathematical abilities.
  • Experience with Command Alkon is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to market changes.
  • Professional demeanor, friendly attitude, self-motivated, and proactive.
