Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, and local, state and federal requirements.
  • Perform tasks necessary to meet warehouse goals, including accurate completion of all necessary paperwork.
  • Manage day-to-day inventory levels, including maintaining forklift certification and performing periodic inventories.
  • Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
  • Timely execution of daily receiving and shipping load board, overseeing the receipt of purchased goods, verifying counts, quality, and complete all required paperwork and transactions associated with this process.
  • Stacks and arranges product on pallets, replenishes stock while maintaining a cleaned and organized warehouse/location daily, and moves product in warehouse/location as necessary during reallocations of space or taking of inventory.
  • Rotates product and arranges according to Julian dates or FIFO (first in first out), receives and checks against receiving documents incoming product, ensuring proper product code, quantity, and condition, and reports any discrepancies to the lead.
  • Operates electric forklifts and palletjacks, works in and out of freezers, temperatures average 32 degrees to –10 degrees, and provides general support of production.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of warehouse experience.
  • 1+ year of forklift experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to work in production/warehouse environment with constant exposure to loud machinery.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
