Job Opportunity: School-Based Occupational Therapist

Location: Nationwide

Position: School-Based Occupational Therapist

Overview: Soliant is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role involves providing occupational therapy services, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students. Experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify students' functional and educational needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs to support students' progress and achievement.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address students' specific needs and goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to setting educational goals for students.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
