Job Responsibilities- Prepare patients for examinations, perform 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode, and Doppler studies under the direction of supervising physicians.
- Prepare preliminary interpretations of studies and maintain accurate patient records.
- Assist supervising physicians with training residents, fellows, faculty, and other physicians.
- Stay up-to-date with multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
- Read, interpret, apply, and follow physicians' orders, policies, procedures, or written and verbal instructions.
- Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
- Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
- Strong interpretation skills to facilitate comprehensive examinations and accurate preliminary interpretations.
- Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program.
