Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary:The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the general supervision of a Physical Therapist to perform treatments and procedures for patients of all ages. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer physical therapy treatments, including functional mobility training, balance training, and therapeutic exercises.
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as needed.
- Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Supervise Rehabilitation Aides and provide guidance on patient care and treatment procedures.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the development of department policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Kansas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
