Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Outside Plant Construction Technician II to join our team in Bend, OR. As an Outside Plant Construction Technician II, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing aerial and buried fiber optic networks. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in construction equipment operation utilizing various underground and aerial construction equipment such as directional drills, trencher/plow/rocksaw, backhoe, or bucket trucks.
- Must follow the TDS attendance guidelines in order to meet TDS's business needs including but not limited to our obligations to our customers and to our customers' needs.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and remain eligible for DOT requirements.
- Other Qualifications: Ability to obtain a Class A CDL (current CDL preferred; training and certification provided if eligible), ability to operate manual transmission vehicles, successful completion of safety training and customer-specific requirements, including potential background checks.
