Key Responsibilities- Process prescription requests and provide accurate information to customers
- Troubleshoot rejected insurance claims and resolve issues to achieve the best outcome for customers
- Follow department processes and procedures to input information, dispense medication, and verify information
- Ensure the department is running smoothly by assisting with tasks, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, and rotating and stocking drugs and other supplies
- Properly handle products, use equipment, keep accurate logs, and follow sanitation practices
- Computer skills and ability to perform basic mathematical computations
- State-specific certification or registration as a Pharmacy Technician
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service
- Experience ordering products and controlling inventory
- Pharmacy Technician experience and certification
