Job Summary

The Elevate Recreation Leader position is a dynamic role that involves providing direct support to adults with disabilities within the Elevate Day Program. As a key member of the team, you will work collaboratively with other Recreation Leaders and the Day Program Coordinator to create a safe and engaging environment for program participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and adhere to agency mission, values, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide program instruction and support to participants with disabilities, promoting participation, enjoyment, and independent functioning.
  • Maintain a safe environment for all participants and staff, ensuring the well-being and safety of everyone involved.
  • Assist in planning and developing camp activities, and provide information and feedback to parents and family members.
  • Support individuals in setting up and cleaning up activities, and contribute to the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the program location.
  • Serve as a bus aide for assigned programs, ensuring the safe transportation of participants.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant Certification required.
  • Valid Illinois Driver's License required.
  • Up to 1 year of job-related experience preferred.

Benefits:

  • $18.60/hr.
