Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

As a key member of the Watson Electrical team, you will play a crucial role in the management of electrical projects and work orders assigned to you. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage electrical projects and work orders assigned to you, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and control all paperwork related to assigned projects and work orders, including time sheets, production reports, and receiving reports.
  • Attend regular meetings with the Division Manager to review information and discuss upcoming workload.
  • Monitor and control reports designated in the GPOP, Instructions for Computer Reports.
  • Monitor and control the company's established policies and procedures, including the Division Office Operations Procedures (GPOP), the Company's Substance Abuse Program, and the Safety and Hot Work Program.

Electrical Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and bid on assigned electrical projects and work orders.
  • Monitor and control estimating, including ensuring that estimates are entered into the Estimate Log and adhering to all paperwork and other procedures.
  • Review and approve estimates and design/build projects within authorized limits.
  • Recommend changes concerning material, labor, and EPAS.

Production Responsibilities:
  • Monitor, control, and verify productivity of assigned electrical projects/work orders.
  • Check to see that assigned electrical projects/work orders are being done in the most efficient and economical manner.
  • Check projects periodically to assure that workers are starting and quitting work on time.
  • Monitor and control wage rates, labor, training, and supervision of assigned electrical projects/work orders.

Requirements:
  • Licenses: Current driver's license if required by job conditions; applicable federal, state, and local licenses as required by job conditions or by the company.
  • Certifications: Applicable federal, state, and local certifications as required by job conditions or by the company.
  • Education: High School Graduate, holder of G.E.D, or equivalent Watson training.
  • Experience: Required or necessary experience and/or training to assure all aspects of position are performed efficiently and productively while operating in accordance with policies and procedures of the company.

Working Conditions:
  • Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, snow.
  • Must be able to utilize construction site sanitary facilities (Porta-Johns).
  • Job requires employee to have required personal tools with him at all times (waist tool belt as worn weighs approximately 30 lbs).

Physical Function:
  • Hear and see well (either naturally or with correction).
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach over head.
  • Lift objects weighing up to 100 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
