Job Details

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at St Michael Medical Center. This is a travel contract opportunity that requires a strong background in critical care and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting
  • Manage and interpret patient data from various monitors and equipment
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Float between units as needed, including the ER and other critical care areas
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in ICU or critical care
  • WA state license or pending license
  • Ability to work 6 weeks at a time, with self-scheduling and review by manager
  • Flexibility to work weekends and rotate holidays
Unit Information

The ICU at St Michael Medical Center is a 24-bed unit with a 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including Swans, Prismaflex CRRT, IABP, and Arctic sun for post-cardiac arrest patients. The team is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and is supported by a hospitalist or intensivist 24/7.

Additional Information

Travelers will be required to float throughout Region Three, including St Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor and St Michael Medical Center in Silverdale. An additional $20/hr will be paid for floating within Region III. Modules will be required, and hours spent on modules must be tracked and approved by a manager.
