Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Family Practice team at PeaceHealth. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment, taking and recording vital signs as needed.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms, selecting and maintaining medical supplies and equipment.
  • Administer injections, apply splints and dressings, and facilitate simple wound management under provider orders.
  • Transport specimens and maintain patient files, records, and other information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Requirements
  • Accredited Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office preferred.
  • Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and collaborate with healthcare team members.
