About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishroom Attendant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in our dishroom.

Responsibilities
  • Gather and sort dirty dishware, ensuring all items are free of food and debris.
  • Load and operate the automatic dishwashing machine, ensuring proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Manually wash and sanitize pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment as needed.
  • Polish and maintain silver, stainless steel, and pewter items to a high standard.
  • Keep the dishroom clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of dishwashing and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
Working Environment

This role requires prolonged standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift. The dishroom is a 95% indoor environment, with occasional exposure to cold temperatures in the freezer.
