Essential Qualities of Strong Candidates
- Expertise in Graphic Design and/or Visual Arts.
- Dedication to meticulous daily and long-term instructional planning to maximize student learning.
- Commitment to continuous improvement through feedback from instructional leaders, colleagues, parents, and students to effectively meet diverse student needs.
- Accountability for student academic performance and classroom environment, with a firm belief in the potential of all students to succeed.
- Willingness to collaborate as a team member and alignment with Pharos Academy's core values and educational philosophy.
- Competitive salary based on performance and student outcomes, starting at $80,000.
- $500 monthly rent stipend for Bronx residents (available for up to three years).

- Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field with a minimum GPA of 2.50.
- Strong knowledge and experience in graphic design (preferred) and/or visual arts.
- Experience working with middle or high school students in educational or youth development contexts.
