Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to clients and visitors to the health center.
- Evaluate patient care needs, prioritize treatment, and maintain patient flow.
- Conduct nursing assessments, provide treatment, and arrange for further medical treatment when needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality.
- Participate in follow-up phone calls and patient visits as needed.
- Certificate from an accredited nursing school or associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice required.
- Basic Life Support certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required.
- Certification in occupational health nursing, emergency nursing, or case management preferred.
- At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic, or other ambulatory care setting.
- Knowledge of Internet software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software.
- Experience with electronic medical records and workplace health and safety concepts.
