Position Overview:
Bryce Space and Technology is seeking a seasoned program manager to provide support to our Department of Homeland Security (DHS) U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Chief Information Officer, Assistant Commandant for Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber, and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC), and Coast Guard Cyber Security Command.

Client Background:
In alignment with the Commandant's Coast Guard Modernization Initiative, the Coast Guard established the C5ISC to standardize processes and procedures across various locations, missions, and asset types. The primary objective of the C5ISC is to unify the command, control, communications, computer, cyber, and intelligence support structure and business practices to deliver technological solutions for mission success. The C5I Service Center comprises a geographically dispersed workforce of over 1,100 dedicated military, civilian, and contractor personnel, all committed to fulfilling the demands articulated by the Commandant's Intent, which emphasizes the rapid pace of innovation in the maritime domain.

Responsibilities:
The Project Management Consultant will be accountable for all contractor work performed under calls issued under this BPA.

Job Duties:
The Project Management Consultant will assist in developing a project management curriculum that meets Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-P/PM) requirements, conduct classroom training to facilitate FAC-P/PM, and provide mentoring support. Additionally, the consultant will offer guidance to enhance business process re-engineering and facilitate effective planning, management, and execution of strategic programs and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A minimum of a Master's degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or Engineering is required.
  • Certification: A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and successful completion of ITIL Foundations training are mandatory.
  • Experience: At least eight (8) years of experience in project management, particularly in business process and re-engineering projects, is essential.
  • Skills: The consultant must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), possess the ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical data, and be capable of interpreting acquisition policies, regulations, and directives.

Additional Information:
This position is contingent upon BryceTech securing a prime bid on the DHS USCG Business and Logistics Management Support Services (BL/MSS) BPA contract. A Top Secret Security Clearance is required for this role.
