You will provide leadership and coordination of materials to perform projects and daily maintenance work, ensuring that proper traffic control and safety requirements are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee utility crews in the performance of manual tasks
  • Provide leadership and coordination of materials to perform projects and daily maintenance work
  • Ensure proper traffic control and safety requirements are followed
  • Assist other crews in customer service compliance with wastewater-related issues
  • May be subject to call-out service after hours
  • Must have and maintain all necessary licenses, certifications, clearances, and/or job requirements
  • Work the assigned schedule and comply with City timekeeping and attendance policy
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED plus 1-2 years related experience and/or training
  • Valid Texas CDL Class B and good driving record
  • Traffic Control I (Flagging) certification
  • Utility Safety and Trenching and Shoring Safety Requirements certification
  • May provide department with special skills, licenses, or certificates that may be utilized by the department
