Diagnostic Sonographer Vascular Specialist

As a Diagnostic Sonographer Vascular Specialist at SSM Health, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic procedures using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure. Your expertise will be essential in providing quality images for interpretation, ensuring accurate diagnoses, and informing treatment plans.
Responsibilities- Perform routine and complex studies, and assist in a variety of imaging procedures.
- Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
- Ensure equipment is properly functioning, and report potential problems or equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
- Submit high-quality images and documents to PACS, ensuring accurate labeling and patient data.
- Maintain a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
- Completion of a Sonography certification program.
- 2 certifications - ARDMS or RDMS including Vascular and 1 other.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare teams.
